In this Project Based Learning activity students will have multiple opportunities to demonstrate their understanding and progress toward the learning goals. All of the formative assessments lead the learner toward the summative assessment (culminating activity). In the culminating activity, students will utilize their technology proficiency to create a digital presentation that justifies their player choices using mathematics and written communication. This final presentation will be for an audience of peers, teachers, administration, parents, and community sports coaches and managers.
Reflection Methods
“We do not learn from experience... we learn from reflecting on experience.” ― John Dewey
Reflection is an important part of ensuring that learning occurs and is converted to long term memory. Students will have multiple opportunities to reflect.
